Summary: "problems with Thinkpad Z61t"

Does not work with Lenovo ThinkPad Z61t. Battery fits OK, and power management software recognizes it as a non-original Lenovo part. The battery does NOT hold charge.

Have contacted vendor via Amazon.com website and am getting them to replace the unit.

Summary: "Not compatible"

Does not work with my IBM Thinkpad Z60t at all. Power management recognition of battery charge level is intermittantly working or not, but mostly not. Yesterday when running on battery, the Thinkpad would shut down thinking battery discharged, when in fact it wasn't. I'm wondering if the connectors are not making good connection but can't seem to get the problems fixed no matter how hard I push or pound the battery into the socket for it.

Yes, you can replace OEM to this one.

however, Lenovo power management will give you warning message about the battery.

the battery is not genuine and have to buy from Lenovo.

I just ignorerd warning message, and still working fine.
